CGB-EB. Timothy Maltby, b. April 9,1770, Northford, Ct. (Sam.4, Sam.3, Sam.2, Wm.1). m. Nov. 17, 1791, Mabel Dimock, according to Mrs, Harrison Allen Kitchin she was born in Northford, 1770. Another authority gives her birth as "Aug. 30, 1770, at Durham," which seems the most probable. She died Aug. 15, 1827, at Richland, N.Y. (Mrs. Kitchin gives "1829.")
Timothy removed to Paris, N.Y. and in 1809 or 1810, to Richland, Oswego Co., N.Y., where he died June 1841. (Rec. from Rev. Henry (6) Maltby's Bible). At one time I believe he resided at White Hall. He always said: "Three brothers came from England to Enw England."
Mabel Dimock was dau. of Daniel and Thankful Merriman, he son of Samuel and Hannah Davis, son of Shubel and Tabitha Lothrap, he son of Shubel, Sr., and Joanna Bursley, son of Thomas Dimock and Anne (possibly Hammond?). Daniel Dimock is said to have enlisted in Rev. War from Durham, Conn.
